Forms fail at last mile
A significant part of the communities you work with don't have a stable smartphone, consistent internet, or the comfort to type long answers on a small screen. They do have access to a basic phone — and they know how to pick up a call.
Checklists can't capture agency
"How many attended?" is an important question. But it tells you nothing about whether the intervention built confidence, changed behaviour, or left someone feeling more heard — or less. That nuance lives in conversation, not in a tick-box.
The analysis layer is a black box
Most "AI for social impact" tools collect narratives and then run a magic prompt. The analytical rigour isn't visible, isn't explainable, and can't be trusted when your donor asks hard questions.
Data arrives late and disconnected
By the time field responses are cleaned, translated, and entered, the moment for course-correction has passed. Your frontline workers, your beneficiaries, and your dashboards are all speaking different languages.
